Rockin Christmas
Chase has been getting a kick out of a dancing, singing Christmas Hallmark thing. It's a snowman and some penguins around a tree, singing, dancing, shaking their bells, lighting up,etc..
it's really cute and so far we haven't even wanted to throw it out the window! Chase loves watching it, touching it. It's her first Christmas tree and it's just her size.
Along with cruising and rockin and rollin, Chase spent some time with a couple other kids... here she is with a girl only one month older than she is. Tarzan has been enjoying her company (and Cheerios) too.

Halloween
So into Pooh....

So we were in WalMart the other day, perusing the baby stuff..showing Chase play phones, talking bears, etc.. when suddenly she spotted a Pooh bear just about as big as her. Gasping and straining for him, we handed him to her - she clutched him tight and leaned her head into him, sighing with adoration. OK, how cute! We'll just let her carry him around. Well, she never let go. She was in love. In the background was playing an old 70's song 'So Into You', a love song with a kind of funky beat. It was hilarious. We came home with Pooh, and it's so cool because he has 2006 embroidered on his foot. Chase has never snuggled up to a stuffed animal like she did him. Guess it was meant to be!

New Horizons

Chase is exploring all kinds of new things. During the past 3 (computerless) months, Chase has really begun to change and grow. Her personality and sense of humor is coming out - Everyday she accomplishes something new. At this age of discovery, she is independent one minute and fearful another. For example, Uncle Chris is on the 'yet to be conquered' list...she is unsure but curious. Lots of new stuff on the horizon!! In the past couple months, we've gone from
scootching to crawling, to standing, to falling, and everything in between.
She's even started eating Cheerios!

Keeping busy!

Sorry for the delay in pictures; Mommy's computer is on the fritz. We have been taking lots of pictures, so here are a bunch! Chase is celebrating her 6 months with lots of firsts: her first tooth, her first highchair, cereal, and discovering she can MOVE (only backwards so far, but she is thrilled). She is developing a great sense of humor and really keeps us entertained.

Happy 4th!
Chase is sometimes like a deer in the headlights when we try to take her picture, but here she is smiling a big toothless grin on her bed. She & Daddy have been playing in the 'Circle of Death" exersaucer which is a completely exhausting and fun time for Chase. Chase learned to roll over this weekend, from back to front...I think she's going to be a lefty, she always rolls that way. Tonight, she tried out the sun-warmed waters of the back porch pool - in her new floaty and swim gear. Happy Independence Day!

MAMAMAAAAA

I'm so happy - Chase's favorite new sound to make is "M" and Chase is singing all kinds of combinations of "MOMMA". Hehe! I'm pretty sure she knows what she's talking about. She is also humming out some "B"s and some weird sounds like "aang"... but mostly M's. WOW.
Here she is holding her bottle briefly, and demonstrating her amazing flexibility (she can chew on her feet now)! MAMAMAMAAAA...MMMM

Playful little Chase

Chase is finding more and more fascinating things to play with. She will play til she falls asleep (see her w/ beads in her mouth). Anything can become a toy ! But JahJah, the monkey, is one of her best pals. At her recent doctor's visit, she weighed in at 15 lbs. 9 oz. and 25.5" long! She is a big girl! In one photo here, you can see her little bandaid from her very 1st vaccination. She did well with it. We are so proud of her.
